Expecting A Blast...Arctic Blast!

---..-.....----.-.-

Breaking News!!!

We interrupt your regularly scheduled broadcast for this winter weather advisory!
The Polar Express is making its way down from Canada into the Texas Pole! Prices are falling faster than the temperature in downtown Athens as we speak!
Several flurries of sales receipts were spotted by this reporter today as shoppers hurried into Winnie & Tulula's/Sweet Pea's and out with their purchases before the Big Chill hit!
Dealers were plunging their prices with many last minute, deep discounts before heading out for a frosty mocha latte.
Some were seen huddled together for warmth due to the icy hot deals being made!

Every effort was made to insure all animals were safe from the threat of freezing prices.
Neither snow nor sleet nor anything else will stop this sale. Gloria, Headmistress of Sweet Pea's/Winnie & Tulula's, has informed this reporter the sale will be extended through next week for those not possessing skates and/or skis.

Stay tuned for updates as they become available.

We now return you to regularly scheduled programming.

Good night and shop responsibly!

LOL! Debbie...I can ASSURE YOU that I have 'been there done that' these past weeks! The (real) weather has been bone chillin' lately...and we've had snow...and more snow...and more snow...about 1/2 NE of me (Fulton, NY) they've had about 5' since the weekend! Needless to say, they were featured on the Today Show yesterday. Anywho...I have my own breaking news...I checked the forecast and we will see sunshine...next Wednesday...maybe. :-)
That's all from this reporter, here in Syracuse, NY! Keep warm...Tami

We are just waiting for the AM rush hour snowfall or as in Ohio we like to call it 'the white death" because of the near hysteria the weather forecasters like to indulge. I had to grocery shop for my mom today in case we never get out of our homes until spring. Tee hee! I wish I could take advantage of that extra shopping time at W&T! Stay warm. Hugs, Pam

The geese! The deer in a bucket! OOooooo!
Really? Cold in Texas? Who woulda thunk? Stay in your feetie jammies with a pot of chocolat chaude on the stove.

LOL Did you know I just love you? I do. Not in a weird/stalkery way, but in the you crack me up and now I have to go clean the coffee out of my nostrils way. LOLOLOL

It's so cold outside... I wanna be the lil' DARLING hiding out amongst the hydrangeas!!! Or, I would like to be sleeping on the settee surrounded with the gorgeous ruffly pillows...

It IS warm in the duct tape mobile... I should just go to Athens and curl up in the chair in front of the mantel. I'll bring a scarf and burnt up flowers for you. LOLOL

Stay warm!!!

This is when cabin fever sets in...while the wind howls and drifts the snow outside, this intrepid junker types away at the internet seeking out new ideas for spring...and a quart of tequila sets the mood...usually face first!!! Ha!

Mmmm, that sounds really good...tah tah...

Total bummer not to have been there... I would have walked out with a beautiful stack of those white ruffled pillows. Bummer, and I could take the weather, we just left a week of -20.
