A Bella-ration!

Who is in the mood for a party? Well, get ready 'cause I got a doozie to share with you!

For those of y'all who are regular readers and friends, March is a special month for my family. (If you are a new reader, please go HERE to read why and the faithfulness of God through it all.) Our sweet Bella's birthday is the 12th! I KNOW...I can't believe a year has passed. How great is our God?

Jenn has been planning a 12 Days of Bella Giveaway starting today, but her computer is on the fritz...so I'm here to tell y'all what you can expect from Cat Daddy's number one Kitten.

I had only been blogging for a short time (and Jenn even shorter) when she learned she was pregnant. I truly believe God led us both to create blogs to help in getting us through an extremely difficult time. The friends we made through blogging were and are incredible...(you know who you are). Now Jenn wants to give back to those who were so loving and supportive to her new little family and what better way than with a giveaway shebang starting on the 1st and ending on the 12th.Jenn will be adding a gift every day until the big B'day! That's right...12 gifts! Not all of them are grand or huge...just a few of her favorites and things she thinks y'all would like. She hasn't decided whether to make it one, two or even 12 winners. The details will unfold as the days pass, but in the meantime...trust me...she has put so much heart and thought into this. The rules are pretty simple. For her, blogging started as a day to day chit chat, but with the birth of Bella, it became so much more. It's a way for her to chronicle the amazing path God placed her and Roby on in February 2009 and a way for her to journal Bella's steps and God's faithfulness. There are so many of you that have been with her from the start by being followers on her blog. You are automatically entered just by that one small, loving gesture. It meant so much to her and still does. For those of you who would like to become followers of Bella's steps, all Jenn asks is that you leave a comment letting her know how Bella has touched your life after reading her story.

We know Bella has God's favor and that she is proof to those who would doubt our God's power. I did a post on what could go wrong with a delivery at 23 weeks, but through God's grace...none of that came to pass. She is now line free and while still far from being the size of a one year old, she is perfect.

I don't have a photo of the first gift, but I will tell you what it is....a tiny pink Bible similar to one Bella received as a gift. Inside will be her footprints...one made at birth and one to be made on the twelfth...to say thank you for being with her every step of the way.

It's important to Jenn that all the glory and praise be given to our Lord for He was the One carrying them. His footprints, while not seen, were there every day and even now, continue.
So, what do you say? Are you ready for a celebration like no other? Go to Jenn's blog, leave your comments, become a follower and get ready for the countdown!
(If you have any questions...now is the time to ask!)

Cue the birthday music, maestro!

PSST!!! A quick reminder...don't forget to check out Amy's for the SYTYCD voting!

I had just started blogging when I first read about Miss Bella.

I remember thinking that if everyone in blogland- sight unseen- can rally around this sweet baby girl, then this was a world where I wanted to be.

Again- a plug for my grandson Mills who is turning 3 on March 5.

I feel certain he will be a World Federation Wrestler- but I know they can be happy!

The wedding can be at Warrenton!

Uh-oh- I'm getting carried away.

Happy Birthday Bella!

It was a year ago when I first discovered your blog and read about your daughter's pregnancy. Even though I've never posted, I want you to know I have prayed for Bella every time I visited. Your precious grand baby is indeed a gift and a sign of God's love and miracles. Even though we have never met, I can see by the photos you share that Bella looks like you. Sweetness! I do not have a blog but decided today was a good day to reach out and say thank you for sharing Bella's story. You, your daughter and Bella have touched many lives. May she be blessed beyond measure on her special day! Happy Birthday to all of you!
Be Blessed,
Beth

Bella is an every day reminder that mircles really do happen if you only "believe"! She is such a precious little girl. Where did the peace sign shirt come from. I want to get one for Morgan, too cute!

Wow. I cannot believe it's already been a year! Praise God for his faithfulness. You have such a beautiful family - inside and out! You are blessed for sure. We are too just from the opportunity to get to know you all through the great world of blogging.

This is a wonderful thing your daughter is doing to commemorate Bella's special, special day. She's going to be one lucky woman to get to go back and read all that was written about her in the first year of her little life.
