Tick Tick Tick To Giveaway

Just a friendly reminder that time is running out to play in the Canned Ham Smackdown. The party will end Monday night at midnight. Don't be timid about suggestions. Lord know, the Moonlight Hollow girls aren't. You really need to get over to their blog and read an entire post of ideas they had for the game. There have really been some great comments left, but it's not too late to throw yours into the hat. I'm sitting here typing this in my yellowboxes and you could be too. In looking at the comments so far, there seems to be a recurrent theme. Maybe I'm sending the wrong message out there about myself. I'm really very shy and unassuming. But if y'all think I'm flashy, well there is really nothing I can say to discourage you. You'll just have to follow your first impression I guess.
I thought I would also throw some names at ya to get the old wheels turning. My wheels are rusty but they never seem to stop turning. I love the names that have been left and it made me want to play in my own game. I thought of The Champagne Bucket(thanks to Jenn for the inspiration), In The Pink, Avant Gaud-ee, Kit Kat Club, Cat Scratch Fever(got the inspiration for that one from Pam's hubby), and The Chatter Box. Feel free to take those and play with them. Just continue to leave comments on the previous post(so I can keep them straight) until the final curtain comes down.Cat Daddy reads each and every comment(without scratching himself) so keep 'em coming. As the sand in the hourglass, so are the minutes left to play.

The chatter box is a favorite, Alley Cat also, I am so excited for you to get it done...

The chatter box is a good one for a blogger.
Last night I was expanding on my hubby's "The Scratching Post" theme. Being a Texas gal this could run to a whole hitching post theme. Except of course you are a Cat wrangler. Just think. A row of little kitties hitched up outside. Maybe with pink saddles. ( can you saddle a cat?) Lot's of fur and velvet inside (kinda like a cat house) Crystal glasses for you to lap your milk, er make that martini, from. A petite crystal chandy for the ceiling. Red velvet flocked wall paper. Decadence, baby, just the way kitty likes it. I really need to get a day job, Pam

Speaking from experience, those things need to be jacked up pretty darn high to get the spare tire under that fender well when you have a flat tire. So make sure you have a good jack. When I had a flat tire on my trailer, I was very fortunate to have a Lowes within walking distance where I purchased a hydrolic floor jack. Otherwise, I would have been SOL with the jack that came with my truck because I couldn't get it under the axle and it wasn't tall enough to work off anything else. Remember, when you have a blowout, the wheel rim will be sitting on the ground. The trailer weight will shift to that side, compressing the springs and the axle will be very low. Just be prepared for the unexpected. A good jack, a couple of adjustable jack stands, a four-way lug wrench and a good spare tire are must haves.

How about "Hamelot"? CD can be your prince charming and you can be the "shy", "unassuming" princess you claim to be. Ahem! When it's jacked up (as in David's comment), you get let down your long golden hair...

Sorry, but I forgot to send my first comment...it is good to be blond...

One of my all time fave movies is 'Priscilla, Queen of the Desert', about 3 drag-queens traveling the Australian outback to do a show, in a school bus painted pink...the bus' name is Priscilla..two Texan junk dealers travelin' the Texas outback in search of trash...

How about Priscilla, Queen of Trash Talk or Talkin' Trash...ok, so now my PS will make sense right...paint 'er pink. You will definitly get their attention!

Check out the movie and think ABBA, the interior of the bus is a hoot too!

There are so many! I like the pink thing! Did anyone say the "Pink Flamingo"? Somehow that suits you Deb. You could get some of those cute flamingo's to stick in the grass beside your canned ham! I know you like pink cause you had a pink x-mas tree! I want yellow box!

I just read David's response and I am totally cracking up. I guess you could call it Cat Jack Fever. He wants you to be safe and ready. I'll suggest that you paint it turquiose. There, that was a team effort. haha! ~Mindy

I like Aqua and Black with an ooh-lala frenchy flair with a bit of trailer trash & kitty thown in. I could just see a black and white awning and plastic aqua urns leading up to a black door with Foo Foo Kitty painted on it. You could name it The Kitty Kave. Just a thought.
Thanks for the comment on my blog. Hope to see you on Saturday. I am bribing everyone with Mimosas. If junk won't get 'em there maybe booze will!
