Texas Stars In Your Eyes

June is promising to be a shopper's paradise! Things are really heating up in Texas with Judy's Home Sale on June 11 and Winnie & Tulula's Grand Opening June 13! And if that is not enough for all you intrepid shoppers, wedged in between is Portia and Gina's Garden Sale on June 11 and 12. Good Golly Miss Molly...can you imagine? Talk about 24/7...you could just go from one to one like a butterfly. To semi-quote Dolly Levi, "Money is like manure, it's no good unless you spread it around". I encourage you to see what is waiting behind the gate at 4224 Allencrest. You just can't imagine all the treasure that are hidden here!(Photo courtesy of Grey Gardens)
To help you find your way (you don't want to be late to this one) just go to Mapsco 14Y for driving directions. (photo courtesy of Ashcombe Maze~Australia)
The girls have been busy gathering all kinds of wares to loosen up the tightest of purse strings! They will be hosting an early viewing for designers and dealers only, Thursday the 11th from 6pm until 9pm with refreshments to cool all the hot shopping that will be going on. (Psst, just between you and me, because you know you're my favorite...this is the Dallas designers' secret. Don't tell anyone...this is just between us chickens!). Friday kicks off at 9am and ends at 4 pm.
I promise you up and down, there will be something for everybody, from furniture to lighting. Urns, concrete fragments, art, architectural elements, and my personal favorite...shell art! So girls, there it is. If you can't find anywhere to shop next week, then you might want to see your doctor 'cause I'm a little worried there might be something seriously wrong with you!

Well I know God's got a sense of humor....I'm having to chose next week between Chikfest and all these wonderful antiqueing venues. Since I'm doing the backprops and design for the stage it will have to be Chikfest. Hoping to run down to Athens on Saturday afternoon...We finish up about noon but I know I'll be breaking down the set afterwards...how long will you be there Saturday?
And I'm still laughing about yesterday's post. I'm goin to do one titled..."Things I said that I wish I could remember!" Mr. Hero thought your post was a hoot! Hope you have a great time next week and sell lots of stuff! Now I'm off to the lake to lay sod (grass)!

Woe is me. More great sales I have to miss. Maybe, it's for the better. I've already spread too much of my money around. Have fun!

I never sleep. I stay up all night thinking about the 11th, 12th and 13th. I kid you not. Can I possibly have a big enough trailer or enough cash? Seriously!!! ~Mindy

Looks like you Texas girls will be having a great old time. Do the men of Texas have any idea what it about to hit their household budgets. Keep them in the dark as long as possible. xo Joan
