Ho Hum

In case anyone was wondering, I'm back. Oh, were you gone? you ask. Yes, as a matter of fact I was. S.C. came by Christmas Eve, got one look at me in my fishnets and whisked me off to the North Pole. But as soon as he got a good look in the light of Christmas morn, he whisked me back just as fast. I know, I know, Christmas is over, but I truly hate to put away the decorations. I've started taking things down, but it all looks so blah without the sparkle and merry merry. I'll get the tree down today and vacuum. I'll wash all the linens, stow the serving pieces for another year and wonder why I just can't leave it up all year long. Would that make me eccentric? Oh well, a girl can dream.
Here is one reason my Christmas was wonderful! Hope y'alls was too!!!! XXXOOO

Great pictures! Love the penguine aprons.

Christmas decorations up all year...do you mean you're not eccentric now? Uhm, hate to break the news, but a PINK tree is a bit eccentric. It's ok, eccentric people make our world sparkle.

I don't think you need Christmas decorations to make you eccentric...I think the fishnets took care of that! lol. I'm glad to hear you had a very merry Christmas!

I agree, Christmas goes quick, then taking the decorations down seems blah. BUT, this year, I'm going to get out the snowman heads that were snowed in in my car and put them on a silver tree for a month. I am going to leave some lights out to put on my old window hanging on a beam in the living room to use for some Valentine decorating. You know, red and silver would still look pretty for Valentines! Hey sweetie...Driving Ms. Daisy here! :)

Ok...now we both went through this when we were trying to get motivated to "put it all up"...remember? Now, you are giving some cockamanie excuse as to why you want to keep it all up! We both know why...cause we ain't got the motivation to bring it all back down. So, I will cattle prod you this time, and you can kick my @@@@! xo...deb

I guess I need to share some of my grand babies pics! :)

Oh please Miss Debi, not the cattle prod. I don't like to post a lot of pix of the grandkids (too many chesters out there) but they are just so darn cute! Tn'T

My decor lingers through New Year's. This year, I decorated in such a way that only my dining room had color. Today, I am ripping down all the red, pin and green so that only silver and gold will remain (I think). All the sparkle will be my New Year's decorations! Maybe that will be my blog today. hmmm

Love the picture! That is love right there.

Debbie, I am so glad you posted a bit more Christmas at your house. Love the colors! I am ready to take mine down to but hubby always wants to leave everything up longer. (I'm the one who cleans around it) I can just see you tra lalaing around in your fishnets and stillettos humming carols as you dismantle the bling. With your little diva in training by your side.(She is a doll) Hugs Pam, P.S. I am going to post a pic of that green coat soon, just for you.

Oh I forgot to thank you for the lovely card. I was scrooge this year and didn't send any but it sure was nice to receive one from you. Pam

Pam, I don't wear the fishnets and Frederick's Of Hollywood red mules(complete with feathers) for dimantling the house-that's what I use for dismantling C.D.
