Just Desserts

Y'all know I promised more photos when it was close to the opening of the Sweet Pea Bistro and I'm always one to keep my word. I also promised to define Texasified. Let me just say that here in Texas if we don't have a word for an action...well, we're just bound to make one up. Kinda like fixinta. You in "I'm fixinta tell y'all what Texasified means"!

Sweetie Pie and I got together (along with Gloria...who BTW is not allowed anywhere near the staple gun until after the opening) and made a check list on how the Sweetie shops Texas style. You might want to print it out and carry it with you at all times for when you find a pair of killer boots on sale...I'm just saying!
To get Texasified (and you know you want to): 1. Get yourself a pair of really cool Cowgirl boots...check.
2. Make 5 trots around the shoppes perimeter...check, check.
3. Stop at Bistro for Cappuccino...check, check, check.
4. On 4th trot, stop at Bistro to graze...big ol' check and a heck yeah!
5. Fifth (and most importantly, final trot)...stop by the Lollia counter to pick up wonderful products for your Saturday night bath!

Now I ask you...bubbles and whipped cream...what more can a girl ask for?

Deb, this window design is just "The Best"!! I absolutely love it! Very Frenchy meets Texas "Ranch-house", if ya know what I mean!
And yeah, those are crepe myrtle. just stuck them in plain ol tap water. They're still in good shape except my husband thinks they stink. Boo on him.
love ya, dear,

First on my list- the boots. That's a little difficult to do here in Iowa- where rubber boots and steel toed boots are plentiful but cute bright cowboy boots, not so much. So first, I'll get the boots. The shopping and the eatin'- I'm a natural :)
